The Ontano Lounge is right in the centre of Northallerton close to Barkers department store. They have a varied menu from all day brunch, burgers with a wonderful tapas menu. Extensive drinks options it’s a wonderful place to catch up with friends and family. Staff are always super friendly and attentive and I love the order from seat option. Food is always delicious and well presented. There are lounges all across the UK but what I love about them is they are all different and unique in design and layout. Highly recommended!
It was a very quiet evening, the whole of Northallerton seemed to be shut. But, the Lounge was open and looked very inviting. We had small plates off the tapas menu, and it was all lovely.
Came to Northallerton for work, and wanted a nice restaurant to eat in, with a good solid menu, and Ontano didn't let me down. I went for the homemade lemonade, and spicy broad beans to have straight away, and ordered 3 choices from the tapas menu, and added the tenderstem broccoli on the side. I had the wings, squid, and prawns and everything was 10/10, in perfect portions. The broccoli was also well seasoned and plentiful. The lemonade was very special and has sherbet on top, which went very well with the soda - would highly recommend. Overall great experience, with lovely friendly staff, and very reasonable pricing. If you're in Northallerton looking for somewhere to eat, look no further. Cheers.
First time visit and loved it. The whole place has a relaxed chatty vibe with stunning lighting and simple up cycled tables/chairs. Lots of choice, veggie, vegan and gluten free menu's I had tapas which were delicious, daughter had gluten free chicken Kiev burger also delicious Everything is downstairs and there is garden seating too. Reasonable prices and would definitely go back
Had a lovely 'Cheeky Monday' meal this evening. Great food, excellent menu choices, catering for all dietary requirements, friendly staff. Got a free pudding or free glass of wine with a main course which was fantastic value for money. Will be going back soon.
First visit tonight. Ordering food was easy via the app and I loved that it was simple to remove items that you don't want even down to the ice in your drinks. Great selection of food and service was really quick. Food portion size was good too and food was tasty.
After dropping our car off at Simon Bailes, for its annual service, we walked along the high street looking for a place for Brunch. Luckily, we came to the Ontano Lounge and I had a fantastic Smashed Avocado, the wife had a triple stack of buttermilk pancakes stacked with bacon and maple syrup. Coffee was an excellent Flat White and a pot of Decaf Tea. Staff are very friendly and the decor is quirky as described on the Website. Highly recommend a visit
